Metron introduces new automatic landing door

Metron has further developed the automatic landing door Uranos 2.0. It is intended to achieve greater installation accuracy, improved operational performance, and an overall upgraded user experience, the international lift manufacturer based in Greece declared.

Three versions of the new landing door are available: one with a standard frame, a low upper frame for applications with limited space in the upper shaft area or structural restrictions or with an integrated split-type controller on the side column.

According to Metron, the main features of the new Uranos 2.0 were: 
• Fast and easy installation. The partially-adjustable door leaves are intended to save time.
• Compliance with EN 81-20
• EN 81-58 Certification (E120/EW20): high fireresistance performance for enhanced building safety and regulatory compliance.
• The new door features adjustable and tilting suspension brackets that enable immediate correction of deviations, even in inclined shafts, significantly simplifying the installation process.
• The intuitive arrangement of the components is intended to ensure faster installation with a simultaneously reduced risk of errors.
• The reinforced structure, with additional internal reinforcements and unified profiles, provides high torsional rigidity and increased long-term reliability.
• The use of high-quality materials and sound-absorbing elements at the contact points of moving parts contributes to quieter operation.
