Elite Liften & Roltrappen from Nootdorp (near to Den Haag) and Van Noort Liften from Den Haag – organised under the umbrella of the company group UP B.V. – have been part of Orona Niederlande since June.
Both companies operate in the fields of maintenance, repair, modernisation and troubleshooting for lifts. "Combined, they have 21 employees and service about 1,000 lifts," declared Corné van der Lans, managing director of Orona Niederlande, in reply to the LIFTjournal. "The companies will continue to operate independently under their current names on the Dutch market."
The Dutch investment company Karmijn Kapitaal took over Elite Liften & Roltrappen in December 2023. Two years later, Peter van Noort sold the company he established in 2011, Van Noort Liften, to Elite Liften & Roltrapen.
Since then, both have been managed under the umbrella of the UP company group by Hans van Spronsen – the founder of Elite Liften & Roltrapen – who will resign at the end of this year. MES Liften from Oudkarspel (north of Alkmaar) also belongs to Orona Niederlande.
