Hydroware, a manufacturer of lift drive and control systems based in Sweden, has undergone numerous personnel changes: In the UK, the Benelux countries and Germany.

Mark Vlaswinkel has been appointed as Managing Director of Hydroware B.V. (Benelux region). His "extensive background in the elevator industry, including his recent position as CEO and owner of Vlaswinkel Liftmodernisering B.V. makes him a valuable addition to Hydroware’s leadership team", stresses Hydroware.

Supply & Fit is Hydroware's turnkey solution that enables lift companies to take on more projects. Hydroware, together with Vlaswinkel, offers customers an on-site survey, all necessary products, installation and handover of the completed modernisation project from one partner. The addition of Mark as Managing Director is a natural evolution of Hydroware’s Supply & Fit offering initiated in July 2023.

Increased presence in the Benelux region

"Appointing a Managing Director for the Benelux region is a strategic move to meet the increasing demand for our services and products in the region", stresses Per Elgborn, CEO Hydroware

To the Dutch team belongs also Key Account Manager (KAM) Frank van Gils, Taco Welling (Technical Support), Terry Wentinck (Sales support) and Wim Klockaerts (KAM).

Mark Golder joins Hydroware UK

After eight years, Matt Thompson has handed over the position of Managing Director of Hydroware UK to Mark Golder. Before joining the manufacturer of drive and control systems for hydraulic elevators in January 2024, Mark Golder gained extensive management experience, according to a company press release.

His previous roles include Managing Director UK & EU at Five at Heart (creator of bike and change rooms), UK Country Manager Billi UK (manufacturer of boiling, chilled and sparkling water dispensers) and Commercial Director Alumasc Roofing (provider of roofing solutions).

New office in Munich

Hydroware Germany has opened a new office in Munich. The new team includes Samira Nabulsi (sales back office), Markus Strohschneider (KAM) and Noah Wolf (Support).

Samira Nabulsi has many years of working in the German lift industry behind her, most recently as sales agent at Raloe Germany. Markus Strohschneider likewise has a long history in the lift sector. Haushahn Aufzüge, Osma and Meiller Aufzugtüren were important stages in his career. The mechatronics master Noah Wolf (25) was previously employed at TK Elevator.

Jennifer Pauly (sales back office) and Michael Ruthenbeck (KAM) recently began supporting the team of the German Hydroware headquarters in Ratingen.

Jennifer Pauly was employed at Otis for many years in sales.

Michael Ruthenbeck was previously Area Sales Manager at Bucher Hydraulics and lift sales consultant (new lifts) at Thyssenkrupp Aufzüge.

Finn Siemson (Support) recently began supporting Hydroware Germany from Hamburg.
