New Bode website with useful information

Düsseldorf-based Bode Components GmbH went online with a new website in June 2025. It not only provides company information but also for example a tool for calculating tripping speed.

"With our new web presence we primarily want to support our customers and pass on information and expertise," revealed Uwe Wiemer, Managing Director at Bode, a manufacturer of overspeed governors, tension weights and other safety components for lift construction.

Professional and modern appearance

The decisive factor for this had been the enquiries from customers in recent years. Great importance was attached in the new homepage to a professional and modern appearance as well as practical information for users and optimised display on mobile devices.

The ‘Knowledge’ section now also contains an explanation and a tool for the dimensioning of the tripping speed in accordance with EN 81-20:2020 5.6.2.2.1.1, as well as general information on overspeed governors and governor ropes.
