Jörn Wittig retires

GAT managing director Jörn Wittig (63) retired on 1 June. However, he will remain on the GAT Board of Management until the end of 2025.

Jörn Wittig had been GAT's managing director since 2004 and branch manager of the purchasing cooperative since 2001. The trained master electrician worked in the lift sector from 1998 and held various management positions during this period at a number of SMEs and large companies.

"I’m looking forward to this new phase of life. Kevin Rieke will represent me well as successor. He has got to know GAT thoroughly as my co-managing director since 2020. I wish him good fortune with his new task and hope and expect that he will further advance GAT."
