interlift 2025: New conversion packages for folding doors

News

Modern lifts have for long fulfilled more than just their basic function of vertical transport. They are expected to fit in seamlessly with architectural concepts, be capable of flexible adjustment and meet the most demanding technical requirements.

Langer & Laumann will be presenting a new conversion package for folding doors at the interlift that will live up to precisely these requirements.

One special feature is that the new conversion packages are identical in their dimensions to the original door mechanisms. As a result, the existing spatial conditions are preserved in full and implementation without major structural modifications is facilitated.

In addition, the solutions boast installation hole compatibility, which means existing drill holes can be used. “This brings about very great simplification during installation and savings in time and costs,” the manufacturer of conversion packages and drives for lift doors underlined.

New room for manoeuvre

Apart from compatibility, the packages have additional features. They are not limited to linear movements but also permit flexible adjustment to the spatial circumstances at the site. This could open new room for manoeuvre, especially in the case of complex modernisation projects, as Langer & Laumann explained.

An additional feature is the newly developed TSG 120 motor. By reason of its especially flat design, it can also be deployed where there was previously very little room available. This made additional application areas feasible for space-critical installations.
