Elevcon 2027: Call for Papers

Preparations are already underway for the next Elevcon, which will take place from 8 to 9 June 2027 in Bucharest (Romania). Anyone wishing to give a presentation at the event can apply until 15 December.

The conference is organised by the International Association of Elevator Engineers (IAEE) and takes place every two years. The event focuses on vertical transport technologies and related fields. The two-day programme comprises presentations, panel discussions, workshops and networking opportunities.

The official language of Elevcon is English, which is used for all presentations and printed materials.

Authors are invited to submit an original abstract of 100–150 words, together with:
• Paper title (maximum 10 words)
• Topic classification
• Author(s) name(s)
• Company / organization
• Address
• Email address
• Telephone number

Submitted abstracts and papers must be original works that have not previously been published or presented elsewhere. Interested parties are requested to send their abstract to the Elevcon Chair and Programme Director, Dr Marja-Liisa Siikonen, by 15 December 2026 at the latest. Email: marja‐liisa@mlslift.com
