"A milestone in development"

News

For the last two years, they have been working on a new product at Invertek. The result is described as a “huge leap forward in the technology for frequency variable drives”.

"This year’s interlift is a milestone for us in development," revealed Justin Walker, product manager at Invertek. For the last two years, a committed team had worked on a project that was kept under wraps even within the company itself. "We are very pleased to be able to present the product at last and observe how it will set a new standard in the lift sector."

Production is being expanded

Walker described the new development as a "huge leap forward in the technology for frequency variable drives". Invertek had considerable experience in innovation in the field of precise and energy-saving electric motor control technology, including its Optidrive lift frequency converter, which is used in lift systems around the world.

In the coming twelve months, an expanded global production and distribution facility would be opened that could produce 1.2 million units annually. In addition, a new multi-million pound innovation centre and headquarters were planned for the location in the United Kingdom.
