Stockholms Hiss-Service AB becomes part of Ascenco Group

The Ascenco Group, specialised in the maintenance of critical infrastructure from Sweden, has acquired lift service companies Hiss-Service from Stockholm.

SHS will continue its operations as before and be an entrepreneur-led company under its existing brand, according to the press release of the Ascenco Group "It feels very exciting to continue the company’s journey together with Ascenco — to keep serving our customers and, alongside the other businesses within Ascenco, strengthen both our own and their offering to the market," said Håkan Johansson, CEO and co-founder of Stockholms Hiss-Service.

Stockholms Hiss-Service is one of the oldest lift service companies in Sweden, specialising in aftermarket services. The company generates annual revenues of approximately SEK 77 million, employs around 30 skilled professionals and has a strong local presence in the Stockholm and Uppsala regions.

Ascenco Group is a group of companies specialising in the maintenance of critical infrastructure, including lifts, industrial doors, and escalators. The group consists of Nordic Lift Tech, Hiss-Craft i Norrland (this company was taken over at the beginning of February, the LIFTjournal re-ported) and as of June 12, 2025, Stockholms Hiss-Service.
