Ascenco Group acquires “Hiss-Craft i Norrland”

The Ascenco Group (“Ascenco”) took over the after-market company “Hiss-Craft i Norrland” (Hiss-Craft) in Northern Sweden at the beginning of February.

The Ascenco Group is a provider of products and services for critical infrastructure. Ascenco is a portfolio company of the investment company MVI.

Hiss-Craft would continue its operations as before, according to the press release of the Ascenco Group. Hiss-Craft i Norrland AB was founded in 2008 with a focus on the aftermarket for elevators. Today, the entrepreneur-led company has a turnover of approximately 20 million SEK, which is about 1.7 million euros.

Extensive technical expertise

"Hiss-Craft i Norrland has a strong reputation in the elevator industry, with extensive technical expertise and many satisfied customers. It will be extremely rewarding and stimulating to continue developing our operations together in northern Sweden!" said Daniel Nyman, CEO of Ascenco Group.

The Ascenco Group has maintained a partnership with Nordic Lift Tech AB (NLT) since the end of 2023. Nordic Lift Tech was founded in 2023, has approximately 70 employees, generates sales of about 130 million SEK (about 11.5 million euros) and manages more than 6,000 lifts.
