Otis: New EMEA president

Bernardo Calleja has been appointed as president of Otis Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). Apart from the new lift business and service area, he is to focus on new digital solutions and product offers.

In 2018, Calleja was appointed president of the Southern Europe and Africa region. He will continue to be in charge of this region and also retains his function as president of the Management Board of Zardoya Otis, the publicly traded subsidiary in Spain.

The industrial engineer had been the interim president of Otis EMEA since 1 October 2020. Calleja is succeeding Mark Eubanks, who had filled this role since March 2019.
