Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Dear readers, dear customers of LIFTjournal, 2025 was undoubtedly an eventful year. Nevertheless, we in Germany and Europe have every reason to be grateful—if you'll pardon the use of this old-fashioned word.

This is especially true for our industry. It thrives not only on sales and profits, as important as they are, but also on human solidarity, which continues to exist and which we personally value greatly. Let's hold on to that!

We would like to express our sincere thanks for your loyalty, commitment, and numerous ideas. You all make LIFTjournal what it is: a central meeting place for the exchange of ideas and knowledge.

Special thanks once again go to the LIFTjournal advisory board, which has contributed significantly to the continued positive development of our magazine. The entire LIFTjournal team wishes you a merry and relaxing Christmas and a happy and healthy start to the new year!
