Hans & Jos. Kronenberg GmbH, based in Bergisch Gladbach, celebrated its 90th anniversary at the end of 2022.
The history of the company began in 1932 when the brothers Hans and Josef Kronenberg founded Hans & Jos. Kronenberg GmbH on 15th November. From the beginning the company has been engaged in the production of lift components.
“Over the decades, Kronenberg developed into a leading manufacturer and supplier of door interlocks, retiring cams, switches and panels,” the company declared. Kronenberg is still family-owned today and employs 61 people at the site in Bergisch Gladbach. The company supplies products to customers in over 30 countries.

The 90th anniversary was celebrated on 25th November 2022 with the staff and shareholders at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne. During a guided tour of the stadium, the guests looked behind the scenes of 1. FC Köln. “An entertaining supporting programme rounded off the event and the party went on until the early hours of the morning,” the company reported.
Kronenberg also has big objectives for the coming years. The company wants to open up new markets and expand its market position. ”We are pleased and proud to celebrate our 90th anniversary this year and would like to thank all our companions for their loyalty and successful cooperation,” said Mike Braun in his speech at the company celebration.
