Hydraulic drive modernisation

News

ALGI and New Lift have used the joint project “Smart Pack Basic & Smart Pack Eco” to develop an optimised product for hydraulic drive modernisation. They intend to unveil it before the international lift market at the interlift.

ALGI manufactures hydraulic drives while New Lift produces lift controllers.

"All interfaces between drive and controller are plug&play configured to make installation fast, easy and fault-free to implement," according to the two manufacturers. This applied both to the regulated control block as well as to the energy-saving version with frequency controlled drive.

The preassembled controller seated on a base plate is simply attached on site to two side sections of the unit and the prepared plug-in connections installed in the machine room. The Smart Pack product line can be used for passenger lifts up to 1,000 kg payload. Wall installation of the controller up to a distance of 7 m from the drive unit is an option.

Setting and evaluation of travel curves

New Lift supplies a PAM-E4 gateway with each unit, including free use of Elevision 4.0 for half a year. The provision of Elevision 4.0 allows the user direct access to the parameters of the control card or frequency converter along with a series of lift information items.

For example, the monitoring permitted the setting and evaluation of travel curves and greatly simplified support during start-up, ALGI and New Lift emphasised. "The lift company benefits from fast, affordable start-up and boosts its competitiveness in the partial modernisation of existing hydraulic lifts."

The Smart Pack product line can be designed using an online configurator. The tool calculates all of the statistical data for the lift company or the specialist planner, documents the scope of delivery of the drive and controller components and the overall costs of the selected scope of delivery.
