Braun Aufzugtechnik back on the international market

Braun Aufzugtechnik based in Kassel is expanding its capacities and will in future once again resume building lifts, lift kits and lift modules for the international market.

The company was established in 2004 with the aim of designing and producing lifts, lift kits and lift modules for its affiliate Braun Aufzüge and for lift companies worldwide. Within just a few years of its establishment, the company had appeared at the interlift from 2007 to 2011 and during this time says it was able to acquire numerous domestic and foreign customers.

From 2014, production occurred primarily for capacity reasons for its affiliate Braun Aufzüge. Thanks to the marked expansion of the production facilities to a total of around 5,000 m2 in the last three years, investment in modern CNC sheet metalworking machines and an efficient coating facility, the company now once again has sufficient capacity for the comprehensive and reliable supply of outside companies too.

Focus on demanding applications

A ten-member team of engineers and technicians is available for design. Apart from developing and optimising standardised modules, the team can also realise customised options and project-specific special solutions. Production relies on a modular kit system.

The product range covers the design and production of complete lifts, lift kits and lift modules. "We attach particular value to producing high-quality, durable and reliable lifts," managing director Tobias Braun emphasised.

Braun Aufzugtechnik concentrates above all on demanding applications, such as hospital lifts, railway stations, industrial plants, upscale administrative buildings and high-quality residential complexes. The renewed market launch will be accompanied by participation in this year’s interlift at which the company will present its portfolio.
