What to watch out for when working on the lift car roof

A lot of the work involving lift car technology is carried out in the shaft and from the car roof. While lift users can enter the car at ground level and without further precautions, service personnel must take additional safety precautions when working in the shaft.

In Scandinavia, financial investors are buying up medium-sized companies

Spanish company declares itself market leader in Ireland Fain Ascensores has taken over the Irish lift builder Accel. As a result, the Spanish company is responsible for over 8,500 lifts on the Emerald Isle and according to its own information had “for the first time assumed market leadership in a country outside of Spain in the company’s history.” - News | March 2026
