Reinforcement for the Advisory Board of the LIFTjournal
The LIFTjournal has welcomed two new members to its Advisory Board: Helena Georgi and Tim Ebeling will in future support the editorial staff with their technical expertise.
Helena Georgi joined Georgi Aufzugtechnik in July 2018. She took over management of the family company at the end of 2021 as managing partner – together with her brother Matthias. In addition, the 34-year old has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Gemeinschaft Aufzugs-Technik (GAT) since June 2024 and since October 2024 of the plenary assembly of the Dortmund Chamber of Handicrafts.
After her training as industrial clerk and a short employment at an automotive subcontractor, she concluded a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Applied Sciences of South Westphalia in the field “International Management with Engineering – Mechanical Engineering Major”. She also has a Master of Science in sales management, which she completed at the FOM University for Economics and Management while working.
Managing director of the lift component manufacturer Henning
Tim Ebeling along with Philipp Molineus is the managing director of the lift component manufacturer Henning, for which he has worked for more than 20 years. In February 2022, the 50-year old was elected to the Executive Board of the VFA-Interlift.
Other honorary offices, among others, are membership in the Committee for Digitalisation and Cyber Security and in the working group “Smart Readiness Indicators for Buildings” of the European Lift Association, the Committee VDI 4702 “Lift technology – support of maintenance processes through digitalisation”, the Advisory Board of the Centre for Lift Technology Roßwein and the Executive Board of the Bildungswerk Metall.
Tim Ebeling studied electrical engineering at the Technical University Braunschweig and the Technical University Karlsruhe (since 2009 Karlsruhe Institute for Technology).
Other members of the Advisory Board are Peter Berresheim, Klaus Dietel, Volker Hager, Jan König, Lars Lindert, Boris Marjancevic, Wolfgang Nothaft and Horst Schickor.
