"Lutz has been characterised by its medium-sized status for almost 100 years, and that is exactly how we intend to remain in the future. We want to stay independent, think long-term and make decisions under our own steam," says Hans Martin Lutz. "In future, I will continue to work closely with the management team on the Advisory Board and play an active role in shaping the generational transition."

Andreas Hönnige has more than two decades’ experience in the lift industry, as well as in engineering, sales and business management. Following various management roles at ThyssenKrupp and affiliated companies – including as managing director of LiftEquip GmbH – he has served as managing director of Liftcore GmbH and CEO of the Liftcore Group since 2015.

He is also a board member of VFA-Interlift e. V. and Managing Director of VFA-Akademie gGmbH. At Lutz, he will be responsible for the technical value chain, from product development and design through procurement and manufacturing to installation.

Moritz Petsch has more than 15 years’ experience in finance, controlling, corporate management and the transformation of international industrial companies. Most recently, he was Finance Director at Vossloh Rolling Stock GmbH; prior to that, he held positions at SKF Marine, Eurofins, KPMG and Deloitte, amongst others.

Marcello Pantke, as Spokesman for the Management Board, will take on overall operational management. His area of responsibility continues to include sales, service and human resources.

"With Andreas Hönnige and Moritz Petsch, we are strengthening the management team with technical and commercial expertise," says Marcello Pantke. "We are continuing to develop Lutz as an independent medium-sized company – close to our customers, with clear technical expertise and short decision-making processes."

The corporate law procedures required for the new structure are due to be completed in September.
