Orona, Europe’s fifth-largest group in vertical mobility solutions, achieved a turnover of €1.195 billion in 2025, recording growth of over seven per cent compared to the previous year.
Despite a challenging environment, Orona succeeded in improving its profitability, with EBITDA reaching €191 million. The cooperative maintained its investment commitments, allocating €58 million to innovation, new technologies, R&D and company acquisitions.
This was done with the aim of strengthening its competitive positioning within the vertical mobility sector. The group’s workforce now stands at 6,997 people.
According to the company, Orona strengthened its commitment to industrial development and local employment generation throughout 2025 through a series of strategic initiatives aimed at expanding and modernising its production capabilities.
In this context, the company announced the acquisition of a strategic site in Estubegi (Hernani), as well as the expansion and modernisation of its industrial facilities in Jundiz (Vitoria-Gasteiz). The total investment amounts to €70 million.
