Motum acquired the Swedish lift company Hisscompaniet from Kristianstad on 1 November, thus widening its service network in southern Sweden.
Hisscompaniet was founded in 2009 and has ten employees with many years of wide experience in the lift sector, according to the Motum press release. The company operated in the region from Karlskrona to Kristianstad.
Motum’s latest acquisition would connect its operations in the provinces Småland, Blekinge and Skåne via Motum Mitt, Motum Blekinge and Motum Skåne, thereby further reinforcing its regional coverage and capacity.
“This will make our position in southern Sweden even stronger and allow us to offer our customers ever faster and more accessible service,” pointed out Fredrik Eliasson, CEO of Motum.
The Motum Group includes a total of twelve lift companies from Sweden, Norway and Ireland. It is part of the Mitsubishi Electric Building Solutions Corporation (MEBS) – a subsidiary of the Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Electric.
