New conversion package for Ceita folding door

News

Retrofitting of the Ceita folding door with a conversion package especially developed by Langer & Laumann is now available.

The Ceita folding door is in use in many residential buildings and has for many years proved itself to be a reliable solution. But like all long-lasting equipment, at some point the time comes when spare parts are needed – especially for the original motors that are no longer available.

Retrofitting of the Ceita folding door with a conversion package especially developed by Langer & Laumann is now available. This enables companies to modernise their existing door systems easily and efficiently – completely without elaborate new designs or expensive special solutions, emphasised the manufacturer of drives for lift and mechanical doors.

The conversion package includes the following:
- New motor as replacement for the original (with the new TSG drive, the drive’s settings can be customised).
- Replacement of force transmission (the door opening can be set down to the millimetre with the threaded rods included).
- One package for all door widths. No measurement of the door needed.
- Renewal of wearing parts is included automatically (renewal of the porous plastic pinion and hinged wing joints).

Conversion with the new conversion package could not be simpler, according to the company. "Just four bore holes in the transom and the door is once again full functional – fit for many more years of use."
