New Chief Technology Officer at Elgo Batscale

Since 1 June 2025, Michele Guidotti has been the new Technical Director, heading up innovation and development activities at Elgo Batscale AG in Balzers.

With more than 30 years of international professional experience—including over two decades in leadings roles within the lift industry across hardware, software, product management, and diagnostic systems—he brings the ideal background to drive forward secure and digital elevator solutions, the Elgo Batscale press release emphasised.

The 58-year old is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich and an alumnus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a focus on strategy, innovation, IoT, and big data. His goal was to continue positioning Elgo Batscale AG as the market leader in the field of lift safety systems.
