The German and English homepage of the LIFTjournal appears in new glory since the end of March: the website has been completely redesigned. This relaunch is part of publisher’s digital strategy.

"We’re relying on digitalisation to enable us to reach old and new target groups faster, more directly and on every channel," explained Dr Rüdiger Gottschalk, managing director of Verlagsanstalt Handwerk, which publishes the LIFTjournal. The publisher’s aim is to meet the expectations of its readers and customers.

These days they are to be found on every communication platform and want to get credible and up-to-date information there, emphasised Gottschalk. "Of course, we’re not neglecting the print area either – we’re a company that is aware of its traditions as well as being innovative."

However, the technology-oriented lift sector rightly expects permanent digital further development from the publisher, "The relaunch of our bilingual website with its adjustment to modern reading habits is another step in implementing our digital strategy."
