The main topics of Elevcon 2022 from 31 May to 2 June 2022 have now been set.
The 23rd International Congress on Vertical Transportation Technologies of the International Association of Elevator Engineers (IAEE) will focus on the future of the vertical transportation industry. Other topics are Elevator 4.0 (IoE-Internet of Elevator), IoT, BigData, Artificial Intelligence, Brain-Controlled Elevators.
In the past, Elevcon took place biennially in different locations: Paris in 2014, Madrid in 2016, and Berlin in 2018. Due to the Corona virus situation the congress was postponed from 2020 to mid-2022.
The Elevcon Scientific Committee plans presentations and workshops offered by international experts that should cover all major aspects of the vertical transportation industry.
The Scientific Committee is comprised of Ami Lustig, Israel, IAEE President & Elevcon Prague 2022 Chairman, John Inglis, OAM, Australia, IAEE President Emeritus, Dr. Albert T. P. So, Hong Kong, John Antona, U.S.A, Vertical Transport Technology Corp., Robert Nicholson, U.S.A, Architectural Elevator Consulting, LLC, Joseph Stier, Belgium, IAEE Administrative Board Chairman and Sefa Targit, Turkey, President of AYSAD.
The upcoming Elevcon will be held in the city centre of Prague. In conjunction with the congress, Elevcon 2022 will also include a three-day trade show. Participating companies can showcase their most recent equipment, technologies and innovations.
"After a long period of many challenges and restrictions due to COVID-19 and its global effects, we all miss meeting each other, we miss traveling and we miss our colleagues from the elevator industry," stressed the organizer IAEE. "Looking forward to the near future, we believe it is time to reconnect at Elevcon 2022!"
