The product range of ALGI has been expanded with electrical interlocks for heavy goods lifts. The company presented them at this year’s interlift.
The manufacturer of hydraulic drives has been supplying a hydraulic catch device to national and international lift companies for decades. The catch device guarantees the flush level of the car during loading with heavy cargo at the stop.
The drive of the tried-and-tested interlock has been offered since the third quarter of 2023 alternatively with two spindle motors and a connection box. The second spindle motor is intended for emergency operation and replaces the manual bolt retrieval.
The main advantage of the new drive concept can be found in the reduction of installation costs since the pluggable cables between the connection box and interlock are light and can be installed fast and easily. The maximum load per catch bolt is designed for a maximum of ten tons and guarantees maximum safety during loading.
Upon delivery, ALGI calculates the length of the attachment profiles order-specifically and modifies the attachment of the profiles on the base frame of the particular installation situation. ALGI provides the entire package, consisting of drive, supporting frame, pipe and car to save its customers elaborate interface clarification.
The interlocks can be selected in the ALGI online configurator, including individual weight calculation to simplify the planning and design of the hydraulic lift.
