His career with Schindler started in the position of Design Engineer for electric components. This role included heading teams within R&D and spearheading the codes and standards, quality, and processes. Over the last few years, an opportunity presented Andreas Wespi with the chance to grow a dedicated organization focusing on the Codes and Standards Management around the globe.

He was able to enlarge his international network within and outside of Schindler. "Considering his technical background and extensive experience within the elevator industry, Andreas Wespi has the broad perspective and understands the needs of the industry", stresses the ELA.
