News

Ascenco Group AB (“Ascenco”) expanded its presence to Oslo, Norway by taking over Heiskompaniet AS (“Heiskompaniet”).

Heiskompaniet is the first group company that Ascenco has acquired outside of Sweden. According to Ascenco, this marks the beginning of the group’s journey towards becoming a true Nordic group that specialises in critical infrastructure, such as elevators, escalators and automatic doors.

"Heiskompaniet and its technicians and management have an excellent reputation in the Norwegian elevator industry, with strong technical expertise and very satisfied customers. Establishing the group in Oslo is an important step in Ascenco’s journey," says Daniel Nyman (in the picture above right), Ascenco Group CEO.

Heiskompaniet will continue to be led by its CEO, Erik Herseth (centre of image), and will operate under its established brand.

The company has a turnover of over NOK 90 million and employs more than 30 people. It is headquartered in Trollåsen, outside Oslo.
