Yaskawa: Premiere for new drive generation

News

The latest generation of lift-specific frequency converters from Yaskawa will celebrate its premiere at the interlift in the form of the LA700.

In addition, under the trade fair motto "The Power to Lift", the solution provider for lift manufacturers, system integrators and control builders will be showing its Yaskawa robots for the production of lift components.

Apart from the current LA500 series, Yaskawa will be giving a preview for the first time of the upcoming LA700: the newly developed devices were "efficient, flexible but quieter in operation and offer an app function for remote programming and monitoring," Yaskawa explained.

Sustainable retrofit solutions for existing lifts

Other trade fair themes will be sustainable retrofit solutions for existing lifts as well as regenerative drives. The U1000, R1000 and D1000 regenerative converter models permit the feedback of surplus braking energy from lifts and escalators into the grid in various ways.

Furthermore, two welding robots of the Motoman GP series are intended to illustrate Yaskawa’s range of automation solutions for lift manufacturers of every size, the company emphasised.
