Stannah: Sixth generation and new executive board

News

The UK family-owned lift business Stannah has announced that it will strengthen its leadership with the addition of a sixth generation and a new executive board.

The governance changes include the creation of a Governance Board (GB), which will comprise family members. This board will provide oversight and ensure alignment with Stannah’s values and long-term vision.

2,400 employees worldwide

Meanwhile, the Executive Board will work closely with the newly appointed CEOs: Marco Luna, currently Chief Commercial Officer of Home Accessibility, will become CEO of that division. Archie Hungwe, currently Chief Operating Officer of Lifts Distribution and Service, will become CEO of that division.

Stannah is a 158-year-old family business and, according to the company, the UK’s largest family-owned lift business. Based in Andover, it has eleven UK branches and twelve international subsidiaries, and it exports to a further 30 markets via a network of distributors. It employs 2,400 people worldwide.
