SJEC Danmark A/S joins Ascenco Group

Ascenco Group AB (“Ascenco”) continues to expand in the Nordics, entering Denmark through the partnership with SJEC Danmark.

As of January 15th, Ascenco expands its presence to Denmark, as SJEC Danmark A/S ("SJEC") has decided to join the group. SJEC will continue to be led by its CEO Claus Thorsen with the same brand.

SJEC is Ascenco’s second group company outside of Sweden. "It is an important milestone in the group’s ambition to establish itself as a leading Nordic group", says the press release. The company is specialised in critical infrastructure like elevators, escalators and automatic doors. Through the partnership, Ascenco is now active in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

SJEC was founded in 2008 and is a Danish company specialising in elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and automatic doors.

Headquartered in Jyllinge, SJEC provides a range of services including advisory, modernisation, service, and new installations, catering to clients across Denmark. The company has a turnover of over DKK 62 million and employs approximately 29 individuals.

Ascenco Group

Ascenco Group is a group of companies specialising in the maintenance of critical infrastructure, including elevators, industrial doors, and escalators.
