The special feature of this day is that experts from very different areas of the lift world get together to discuss the latest trends and developments, the organisers emphasised. “The participants can swap experiences with likeminded people and acquire new knowledge from talks about current themes in the lift sector or find people who will give them new ideas for their work.”

The following will be the main areas of attention this year:
• Future development of EN ISO lift standards – where are things headed?
• Functional safety / e-safety for lifts – what is possible today?
• Building Information Modelling BIM – requirements for lift providers!
• Digitalisation in lift building – effects on operation and the service business!
• Hydraulic lifts as complete solution for new installations and modernisation solutions!
• The new European Machinery Directive – effects on lift manufacturers!

The event location is the Swiss Safety Center Akademie in Wallisellen; participation costs CHF 330 (excl. VAT).
