Reorientation of distribution and service structure

Hiro Lift took over the direct distribution and service of Cibes in South Germany on 1 June. The longstanding partner is to concentrate on the north and train distribution partners nationally.

The stair lift manufacturer Hiro Lift Hillenkötter + Ronsieck from Bielefeld and the German branch of the Swedish homelift manufacturer Cibes Lift Group in Berlin are dividing up the German market differently. Hiro Lift took over the direct distribution and service of its longstanding partner in South Germany on 1 June.

Cibes is to initially concentrate on direct distribution in the north of Germany and concentrate on the further training of the national distribution partners through targeted courses, according to a Hiro Lift press release. A central element of this initiative would be the Cibes training and competence centre at its headquarters in Berlin.

"Hiro Lift is continuing to expand its strong distribution position in South Germany with this measure and to strengthen its own market position," the press release continued. This involved using its established distribution and service network to continue the support of previous Cibes customers without interruption. The expanded cooperation represented a consistent further development of their over 25 years of partnership. The aim was the effective combination of the strengths of both brands in the South German market.
