Platform stair lift in the BIM database

The Austrian lift company Ascendor has recently started providing BIM data for its platform stair lift PLG7.
Developers, architects and planners should in this way be able to access the CAD data of the Ascendor lift needed and adopt these in their plans. Upon provision of the key data, such as the stair dimensions, a 3D preview of the product needed is automatically created.
At the end, there is the option of generating a PDF data sheet, including 3D model, with which the user can order the lift desired directly from Ascendor or one of Ascendor’s trading partners. Ascendor wants to take a significant step towards networked building planning in this way.
