News

Ascendor has further developed its shaftless lift QuattroPorte and launched version 5 with numerous new features.

QuattroPorte has already been on the international market for six years. It can be used to realise lifts with a conveyance height of up to 13 m. The travel speed is 9 m/min. The car pf the QuattroPorte can take loads of 275 kg

The control operates in standard via ‘hold-to-run’, optionally also in self-driving automatic mode with closed carrier, as in a conventional lift The lift door is integrated in the building, thus "guaranteeing outstanding heat insulation" explained Ascendor. The aluminium building door in portal design with three panes of security glass has a U-value of 1.21 W/m²K.

The new features in version 5

Ascendor’s product developers came up with several improvements for the new version. The laser scanner and sensitive contact floor both meet performance level D and as a result are on a safety level comparable to a classic shaft lift.

The new drive system made operation especially energy-saving, Ascendor emphasised. The lift had an updated overload detection system as well as a smaller switch cabinet. The new platform surface provides better anti-slip qualities.

QuattroPorte has been tested by TÜV Austria according to the current standard. The renewed type approval test was carried out according to current safety standards.
