New managing director at Otis

Otis Germany has appointed Andreas Gruß (48) General Sales Director. In his new position, Gruß will be in charge of operating the entire sales business of the company in Germany.

Gruß will report directly to Udo Hoffmann, Chairman of the Management Board of Otis Germany. Grus had been working as Director Zone Operations since 2017. The qualified engineer acquired his many years of sales experience at Otis from 1995 to 2012.

Digitalisation in the lift industry

During this time, he already held various management positions in sales and was decisively involved in developing and launching new products. According to Otis, he always paid special attention in this regard to the advancing state of digitalisation in the lift industry.

"Otis is putting itself on an even broader footing in the enormously important field of digitalisation with the expertise of Mr Gruß," explained Udo Hoffmann. "I’m delighted I’ll also be able to help shape the digitalisation of our business in the future," emphasised Andreas Gruß.
