Kone Germany has taken over two lift companies – one in southern Germany and one in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
In the future, Aufzug & Service W+S GmbH will belong to the Kone Group. The previous managing director, Johann Schum (photo front left), has decided to take a back seat in the future and hand over the business of Aufzug & Service W+S GmbH to Kone, according to a statement from the group: ‘We will continue to operate the service business in the greater Munich area in his spirit.’
In addition to the maintenance contracts, Kone will also take over the 15 employees. The company is changing to ATH-Aufzüge, a subsidiary of the Kone Group. The new managing directors will be Kay Graupe, Thomas Elser and Sascha Seiß (front right in the photo).
Trier-based Aufzugbau, also a Kone subsidiary, has also taken over ELS Lift-Service GmbH. Kone also intends to keep their three employees on, and they will work for Trier-based Aufzugbau in the future.
