Guide to application of Lifts Directive published

The guide to the application of the Lifts Directive 2014/33/EU was recently published. However, to date it is only available in English.

The Lift Directive 95/16/EC was replaced by the new Lifts Directive 2014/33/EU on 20 April 2016. Several questions have arisen due to this change, which have in part been settled by the groups involved in the market, according to an explanation of the VFA Interlift for its members.

On 14 June 2018, the EU Commission published the guide to application of Lifts Directive 2014/33/EU (Guide to Application of Lifts Directive 2014/33/EU); currently, it is only available in English.
