Emergency phone: Standard-compliant re-equipment

The transitional period will end on 31 December 2020: from then on, an effective two-way communication system must have been installed in the car, via which an emergency service is constantly available.

Standard-compliant re-equipment is possible with the new Behnke lift emergency telephone. According to the manufacturer, the height of the visible signals is arranged to ensure optimal operation and visibility.

In line with the new standard, the icons serve both to indicate calls as well as faults in uncompleted or defective routine tests.

The rear installation version can be used in modern lifts. Existing buttons and icons are connected in the car to the lift emergency control centre according to EN 81-28.
