Avire appoints new technical director

Lift safety and communication specialist Avire has appointed Michael Stembridge as its new technical director. Stembridge will assume product development responsibility for the global Avire organisation.

Stembridge has a first-class honours degree in Electronic Engineering from Bolton University and 25 years’ experience in three important defence and communication organisations: Imtech Traffic and Infrastructure, Racal Acoustics Ltd and Ultra Electronics. Stembridge takes over from Karl Westhead, who has moved to fellow Halma company Apollo Fire Detectors.
