Ascendor: New homelift at the interlift

News

Ascendor Lifttechnik presented a new homelift at the interlift. The modern DuraPorte homelift boasts a durable aluminium shaft and lifting height of up to 3 m, according to the company.

This made it one of the few manufacturers on the market offering a solution for outdoor open shaft lifts, Ascendor emphasised. Another highlight was the "elegant exit between the guide rails at the upper stop".

The UnaPorte lift platform presented in 2021 served as the basis. Tried-and-tested components and systems were used in developing the DuraPorte in order to be able to offer technicians and customers a new product with a familiar surrounding package, according to the company’s press release.

"We used the same proven controller as in the UnaPorte for the DuraPorte. This is already known to the fitter and the new shaft lift does not require any additional training," pointed out Rainer Martl, head of the development and innovation department at Ascendor.

The DuraPorte’s many advantages made it stand out, explained Daniel Schönberger, product developer at Ascendor. "For example, it is especially user- and assembly-friendly, has a modern, timeless design and a long service life. "Apart from fully automatic control of the doors in the aluminium shaft and at the upper exit, the standard equipment also included sensor buttons on the operating panel and a gentle start/gentle stop via a frequency controlled drive system.

Doors at the lower stop were possible on three sides. The DuraPorte travels using a guide chain system and 0.75 kW electrical drive on an aluminium guide rail at a maximum of 0.15 m/minute. Flexibly positionable radio call buttons are intended to save installation time and safety gear with an integrated speed governor rounded off the versatile lift, Ascendor underlined.

The lift with a load-bearing capacity of up to 385 kg is available with an effective platform size of 1400 x 1100 mm (LxB) and with a closed car needs 1693 x 1388 mm (LxB) space. The aluminium shaft structure including glazing is weather-resistant and therefore suitable for outdoor installation.
