Ascendor Lifttechnik at new location

Ascendor Lifttechnik has now relocated its production site from Niederwaldkirchen to nearby Neufelden in Upper Austria. At the same time, the production area has been expanded by 42 percent to 8,000 m² in total.

The move and expansion had been made necessary by its steady growth, declared the company, which develops and produces car lifts, platform lifts, lifting platforms and stair lifts. Lift production at the old location in Drautendorf had come up against its spatial limits some time before. Ascendor generated new record turnover of 13 million euros in 2022 and described its current order book as excellent.

After its Biohort affiliate had undergone a production area increase of 50,000 m² with its new plant in St. Martin, the previous production of metal tool sheds, boxes and plant beds transferred from Plant 1 in Neufelden to the newly-built Plant 3 in St. Martin.

Retrofittable lifts of Ascendor are produced in the vacated halls in Neufelden on a production area that has been expanded by 42 percent. Apart from Ascendor, the office building of Priglinger Holding is also located on the 27,500 m² site in Neufelden.

The "investment in a new production facility is necessary to bring lift production up to the lat-est state of the art," explains operational managing director Erwin Roither. "Neufelden is the ideal production location for Ascendor. Here we have all the possibilities and capacities to continue growing and to develop and produce innovative solutions in the future," emphasises Maximilian Priglinger, managing partner.

Ascendor invested about 800,000 euros for the new location, which was put into new machinery, a highly modern extraction and filter system, LED lighting and modern building installations. In addition, the employees have more space, which is also intended to permit future growth.
