25 years Langer & Laumann Ing.-Büro GmbH

This year, Langer & Laumann Ing.-Büro is celebrating its 25th anniversary. “This is an important milestone for the company, which has blossomed into a renowned provider of door drives for lift and machine doors,” Langer & Laumann declared.

A multitude of projects had been implemented in the last 25 years and close relationships developed with customers. "During this time, the company has always specialised in the latest technologies and continuously improved its services to meet the needs of its customers," emphasised Langer & Laumann.

In its early days, Langer & Laumann Ing.-Büro was characterised by a heavy focus on lift controllers. But within a short time, the product range was expanded by door drives for the lift sector, which saw the birth of the "TSG" door controller. The initial developments for complete conversion packages for particular manufacturers began at the same time. According to the company, this revealed that the working time on site could be considerably reduced by tailor-made conversion packages.

Change in the management

In 2019, Martin Platt took over the management from the two company founders, Matthias Langer and Michael Laumann. The new location in Steinfurt was subsequently occupied while distribution was continuously expanded. The goal of the SME: "Implementing customer needs and desires even better and expanding the product range accordingly."

The 25th anniversary was a "symbol of the success of the company and the commitment of its now almost 40 employees, who do all they can every day to meet customer requirements as well as possible and offer solutions adjusted to every challenge," emphasised Langer & Laumann.

"Of course, none of this would have been possible without the confidence of our customers, who repeatedly entrust us with their orders and without the commitment and loyalty of our team," declared managing director Martin Platt. "I would like to express my sincere thanks for this at this point! We are all looking forward to the coming years and are convinced that we will also put in a convincing performance in future with our tailor-made solutions and our holistic approach."
