Bosch Communication Center continues expansion

Since September, 1st, 2014, the Bosch Communication Center has been renamed Bosch Service Solutions. The name says it all: It reflects the aim of becoming the leading provider in the field of business process outsourcing for innovative, technology-driven services. Additionally, the company is developing and operating new business models together with its customers.

Since September, 1st, 2014, the Bosch Communication Center has been renamed Bosch Service Solutions. The name says it all: It reflects the aim of becoming the leading provider in the field of business process outsourcing for innovative, technology-driven services. Additionally, the company is developing and operating new business models together with its customers.

The repositioning under the new name is based on a strategic realignment. This expansion strategy essentially concentrates on innovative service solutions, the development of new business models, and further building on the worldwide presence.

The main focus is on automotive and building solutions as well as customer interaction solutions. Areas in which technical expertise can be combined with the capabilities of an experienced operator of contact centers. One example in the automotive area is the automated emergency call system for Mercedes Benz, eCall, available in ten languages and across 27 European countries.

Also in line with the new business models are pre-bookable, video-monitored truck parking spaces at service stations. Within the field of building services, Bosch Service Solutions offers cloud-based video surveillance with an optional connection to the control center and intervention control. Finally, examples of solutions in the areas of customer interaction services are the monitoring and evaluation of social media platforms to effectively support companies´ marketing and sales activities.

The global expansion of Bosch Service Solutions is further supported by the opening of new locations in the USA, and the Philippines this year. Further new locations are planned for the years to come.
